...and ENGAGED!
I know some of you already saw it on Facebook but I'm just now officially announcing it on here. Ever since we got back I've been super busy with work and school, so sorry for the delay!
Anyways on to the proposal...he proposed on June 2 while we were at the Black Sea with his sister and cousin and her BF. It was at sunset in front of this gorgeous color-changing fountain. Oh and people happened to all walk up right as this was happening...and then clapped afterwards. Awesome lol.
He had asked his sister to take a picture of us sitting on the fountain and right when she went to take the picture he got down on one knee and proposed! Ahhh it was amazing. My heart was beating like crazy and I couldn't stop smiling.
Pictures to prove that it happened:

I'll post some more pictures tomorrow, including the ring! Missed you all and I'm glad to be back! Night!

This is right after the proposal with the sunset in the background!
And of course THE RING!
For our Canadian girls...we were flying into Canada as the sun was setting!
We drove up into the mountains for the day...for them it's only about a 20 minute drive and you're about 5,000 ft. up!
FI and I-- I LOVE being able to say that now
At the park in the nearest 'big' city Maykop.
Looking out over the river.
Fresh strawberries from the market= AMAZING!
Btw all the food tastes so much better there...the cucumbers, tomatoes, nectarines, pears all have such a good flavor and actually taste like something.
On our way to the Black Sea we made a pit stop.
We finally arrived- Gelendzhik Bay.
The Boardwalk
Jellyfish!
Out in the bay on a boat!
Okay I'm done attacking y'all with pictures now!

And, ah! What a cute proposal story
This should be "Congratulations" in Russian....I hope it is!
Поздравляю тебя
And then I opened the thread and was like "Omg what?!?!"
I'm so excited for you! And we should go dress shopping together before I have to move this fall.
[QUOTE]So I saw your thread and I was like "Yaaaaay Amanda's back!" because TX has been seriously under-represented on the boards lately. And then I opened the thread and was like "Omg what?!?!" I'm so excited for you! And we should go dress shopping together before I have to move this fall.

Seriously some of the best berries ever :)
Oh and apparently the clear jellyfish there don't sting you?! It's crazy. After we found that out we started messing with them lol. They are so gooey and slimy!

Ahhhh I'm supposed to be in Dallas that weekend for, of course, another wedding. If my plans change, I'm totally in.
We have to get together sometime, though!
