So I just had a conversation with my mom who lives 3 hours away and she told me that my grandma was diagnosed with cancer today. The thing is, the cancer is too far gone for the doctors to really treat it. They decided to just do a few radiation treatments to make my grandma more comfortable and to get her out of pain.
I don't even know how to feel. My granny is my last living grandmother because my paternal grandma passed away 2 1/2 years ago from diabetes. I feel bad because I haven't seen her in a while because I live so far away, but I will be home for Easter so I can see her before she goes to the assisted living facility on Monday.
I wrote all of this to say, please keep my family in your prayers ladies. This is so hard for everyone to deal with because there's nothing left to do but pray.
