Ideas for welcome bags

we're getting married in Maui, Hawaii and I'd like to do little welcome bags for the guest when they arrive. I'm looking for some inexpensive ideas of what to put in them and what to hold all the items in! Like maybe a little tote bag or something similar. Any ideas would be welcomed!

Tote bags would be great. I don't know what all to put in them, but I would say definitely include some sunblock!

I love the tote bag idea! I would include sunblock, water, maybe a book/magazine on Maui, a note pad, pen, and a beach towel. :)

Chelsea, once you're in Hawaii you could just buy some of those green bags there.  If you see an ABC store, they have green bags that are $1-2.

I made tote bags on vistaprint (look for coupons online).  I ordered 20 and they came to about $4.00 each (incl. shipping).  I plan to put a couple of bottles of water, sunblock, some salty snacks (bought in bulk at Costco), a homemade sweet treat (possibyy 1/2 loaf of my mom's choc. banana bread), local maps, the invite to the RD and a schedule of events.  that's all I got so far...

I am having a DW as well.  I ordered a canvas tote for each couple with their last name stitched on it.  Inside I am including:

    Welcome note
    1. Sunblock
    2. Tanning oil
    3. Aloe
    4. After sun lotion
    5. Kleenex
    6. Wet wipes
    7. Beach towels
    8. Tube of chap stick
    8. Underwater Camera (disposable)

If you are getting to Hawaii early and have time go to the stores there to get.  When we were there one of my favorite things I brought back and still use is my grocery/tote bag which says Maui all over it

I'd do as much shopping there as you can. We are going to a resort not near any town and packing everything is proving to be tricky and we only have 4 bags.

We're including snacks, a mini first aid kit, hand sanitizer, tums, aspirin, kleenex, wrinkle release, mints, lip balm, a notepad and pen, eye masks and a candle and bath fizz salt as well as a brochure.

A lot of girls buy bags from Oriental trading or just use gift bags. I think Maui bags would be super cute though!
