Hudson Valley Ceremonies -- officiant

Hi ladies,

We are in the midst of beginning to look for a wedding officiant. Has anyone used an officiant from Hudson Valley Ceremonies? They have some nice packages.

    I used them and I have kind of a long story. We had a really good friend of ours ordained online to do the ceremony, but a week before the wedding, we found out it wouldn't be legal in the town we got married in. So I clearly freaked out. I contacted HVC right away, and within hours (no exaggeration) they had one of their officiants contact me. (Reverend Stuart Chernoff, or "Rev Stu").

    When I first spoke to him I was in tears panicking about the situation and he made me feel sooo much better. He reassured me and talked me through it and over the next few days we worked together over the phone and email to create our ceremony. He even let our friend who we got ordained make an address and do the Blessing of the Hands ceremony, which meant so, so much to us. He really let me personalize the ceremony and he added in his own stuff and it was so beautiful. Everyone commented on how moving and meaningful our ceremony turned out to be.

    It was really the easiest process working with Rev Stu and HVC, and I was shocked at how easygoing he was and willing to let me have the ceremony exactly how I wanted. He gave me suggestions and worked from his experience, but it ended up being the perfect blend of both our ideas. And the price was awesome. I was expecting to pay like $800 for an officiant, especially with under a week's notice but we paid less than $300.

    So I'd recommend HVC a million times, they really saved the day and it turned out so well. Rev Stu was awesome and so, so nice. You should definitely use them!

    (Sorry it was so long, but I was honestly so happy with their services I wanted to give them a great rec!)

    Thanks alot! That is actually great you had a long response, because I was emailed today by Jeanne Stark that the officant that she is having contact me is Stuart! Ironic! Glad to see he comes highly recommended. Yes, their prices I also like because they are very affordable.
