Late September-Missouri-Purple Flower Bridal Bouquets (PIP)

I am getting married September 28, 2012 and cannot for the life of me find the right type of flower for my bouquet. I am having a vintage-themed wedding and would like softer looking flowers. I would like something to go along nicely with my bridesmaids. I was thinking lilacs, but do not believe they are availabe during my wedding.

    I am getting married in September as well and my colors are purple and green. I am using hydrangeas due to the fact they are a softer flower. they can be pricey though. From $3-4 a stem. Sams club has the best price for them and great reviews. A box lot of 30 stems for under $100.

    deep purple lisianthus would be available then and it's beautiful.  You could mix it with an antique green hydrangea and a dark berry possibly  These aren't exact photos, but you could also encorperate purple freesia, or purple sweet pea.
