Plunge Bustier?

I was wondering if anyone has come across a plunge bustier with a low back.  My problem is that I have very very little up top and my sternum sticks out so if the wires go up to high it rubs and gets painful quick.  I haven't been able to find anything, so I bought a convertible bra from Victoria Secret that has the low back strap, but it just falls down on me.  I would go braless, but I would like to have that little bit of lift and pad that you get with cups ;).

This is the bra I was planning on wearing...

I think it will be ok if my dress has enough boning to hold it up, but I'm trying to look for additional option if it doesn't.

  • Have you thought about having an alterations person add push up cups to the inside of your dress? Lots of girls like this option because you pretty much are going "bra-less" since the cups are sewn in and you don't have to worry about a back strap or anything.

  • I haven't really thought about it, but mostly because I've never seen sew in cups that add enough lift and padding...gotta add a lot, other wise I will look like a little boy in drag LOL.  I will definitely keep that an option as well. My dress has a corset back so if I cinch that baby tight enough it might just work!
  • what about something like this, that's a bra in the front but sticks to your sides?  http://www.kohls.com/upgrade/webstore/product_page.jsp?PRODUCT<>prd_id=845524892842506&crosssell=true

  • My daughter's prom was Friday. She had a lace up back on her bodice and I bought her what is fondly called "chicken cutlets" at Joann's near the fabric section. They are bra cups that are sticky on the inside and actually stick to your breasts (she said they don't hurt). I think they were $25, but I had a 50% off coupon. They come in sizes A, B or C.
  • Has anyone had any luck with the stick on bras?  I was curious if they actually stay up, especially on hot summer days.
