Quirky Venue Suggestions

So Mr.Owl and I are going ring shopping this weekend! Yay! We have started to look at venues together and I'm really leaning towards something unique or non-traditional.

Here are some of my thoughts...
Via Vecchia Winery
Southern Theater
Grange Audubon Center

What other offbeat suggestions do you ladies have? I feel like I've looked everywhere but you always have great out-of-the-box ideas.

Requirements - holds 150 guests, not outdoors, preferably urban or vintage

    Smith Bros Loft or Venue.  It's got an industrial feel to it.

    Columbus Museum of Art (would have definitely considered it for ours if it wasn't under construction last year), Creekside (where we got married- more unique than a traditional ballroom), COSI (Progress section would be good for a vintage look but the other spaces are unique), Cultural Arts Center (Columbus Parks and Recs), Lincoln Theater ballroom, the Statehouse, North Bank Park, Station 67, the Vault, Grand Valley Dale Ballroom, Ohio Historical Center, Bryn Du, Granville Inn, Nationwide Building Atrium.

    The valet is really nice and they let you bring outside caterers, I thought I wanted something different but I fell in love with Columbus Athenaneum so you might want to give that a try good luck.

    When I was looking at venues I considered downtown Columbus and wanted to go to Station 67.  It looks kind of quirky and I loved the look of it, but the person that I contacted never got back to me.  Hopefully you have some luck!

    The Faculty Club at OSU definitely fits vintage. We are having a 1930s inspired wedding~ and it fits perfectly! It was built in 1939 and has a charm you can't find anywhere else.

    COSI is amazing but a little pricey. Cultural Arts Center is awesome. You can rent the courtyard, building, or both. Bluestone is where we are having ours and its an old church building redone in modern art. Smith Bros is definitely unique and urban. I don't think North Bank Park could hold 150 unless you rented a tent as well.

    We're having ours at the Columbus Zoo. We're not really animal people, but the zoo has pavilions along the Scioto with a great view of the river. The pavilions are indoors, but one wall is made up of glass garage doors so you can still see the scenery. And if it's nice, you can easily put up the doors.
