  Those are great suggestions.  Also look at Ebay, and search for custom wedding shoes.  Not much $$, and they can make them any color, texture, heel height, style, etc.  Mine turned out so beautifully.

  Look at zappos. I bought my red satin wedge there, and i think they have it in purple too. Mine is outdoor too, so they work great!  They great as they not high heels and still look pretty. Brand is Me Too.

  I had a hard time too - I want red shoes, but not patent, and a heel that won't sink into the ground at an orchard.  I ended up buying these shoes which have a big enough heel that I can walk on the ground in them just fine:  http://www.shoebuy.com/dyeables-angie/295718. I'm going to have them dyed to match the fabric I'm getting for wraps for the bouquets, so they'll match perfectly!  (I'm also attaching a ruby brooch to the front - my ruby slippers!)  Just thought I'd share the solution I found!

  You can also consider SoleMates if you still want to wear heels!  I'm going to use them for my outdoor wedding.  They fit on over your heels so they don't sink into the grass.  Good luck findng cute shoes (wedges or otherwise)!
