Washington-Seattle

I think we're moving back to the city....

FI purchased a house eastside before we got engaged, since on his own he could afford a lot more space, and thought he/we wanted to be closer to work. But we MISS the city. So much.

We found this incredible townhome in Cap Hill, right across the street from Cal Anderson park. And we ran some numbers, and we could actually easily handle both mortgages (although we would find a renter for our current place and keep it as an investment/rental property for the time being). (We have the cash to put down a down payment on the new place without selling our current place).

I'm so freakin excited! We're going to cut back our wedding budget a bit, but we can totally make this happen. Gah! I can't wait to be back downtown!!

    Congrats!
I wish I could say the same thing about the city. I don't miss it at all.
I find myself missing brunch places since I really don't know Bellevue that well yet, but northing will make me move back to Belltown.

That's fantastic! Congratulations and it's pretty awesome to be able to do that. The DH and I are looking into new real estate for a future family and hope to keep our current house but can't really fathom moving to the east side, though I have, grudgingly, put Kirkland on the list just cause of the affordability of it compared to Magnolia and Queen Anne.

    Yay for Seattle!

Hooray!  I miss living on the Eastside actually....we'll probably look to move back up that way in a few years.
