Bridesmaids Gifts

Ok, so I'm kinda on a tight budget, but I would love to get some nice gifts for my girls. I also had a post about paying for their manicures...but I could also pay for their makeup.  I can't afford both though. So what do you think? Should I pay for their nails or pay for the make-up? I'm of course going to add other gifts for the girls, but I wanted a little extra. So if you were a bridesmaid which would you prefer?

Also what are some great gift ideas? Thanks!! ;)

    I would prefer the nails, that is something they will have longer than the day of & they could do their own make-up if necessary.

    Neither.  Do something personalized for each of the girls.  It you want to do a spa day say, I am going to XYZ spa on this day if you want to come along we can have a girls day.  The best bridesmaids gifts are ones that are not related to the wedding.  This way you can spend more on something that they will really like. 

    Examples
    Small size bottle of a girl's favorite perfume
    Nice wallets/small purse
    Anything the girl collects

    I think the manicures are a better idea. and for another gift, have you thought about giving them jewelry for the big day? I am giving my girls pearl sets, you can find them for pretty cheap if you keep your eye out for sales going on at local stores.

    I would deff prefer the manicure out of the two... but another idea is to give them something that will last longer like a personalized make-p bag or even an overnight bag.... you can go to http://www.personalizationmall.com they have some really pretty and SUPER affordable items.
