  I haven't personally used any of these venues/been to weddings at them but they are ones I found while searching for my venue. Hope it at least helps out a little! The Chateau Ritz in Niles is in that price range although I don't think that inclues tax/tip. The Mirage Four Points Sheraton is well within your price range too.
   
  We went with the Fountain Blue in Des Plaines. Once you add in tax and tip it's a little above your price range but their package includes a lot (i.e. hors d'oeurves--some places tack on extra per person for those). GL!

  We are having our reception at the Belvedere, it is in Elk Grove Village. They offer a 20% discount on Friday's so it would be in your budget. 5 hour open bar and includes the cake & appetizers. I have been working with Caroline ther and she is awesome. Good luck!

  I went to a wedding at stone gate in hoffman estates and the venue was beautiful. The couple was also given the opportunity to host the cocktail hour outside.
