Any venue less than $1000 & allows outside catering/alcohol in???

Please help I am not good at planning and cannot find anything affordable these days.. anywhere around the coast or raleigh surrounding areas will work.. not too picky

    since your wedding is in May, are you opposed to outdoor venues like a park? That could possibly be less expensive.

    Check out Raleigh City Parks rental facilities. Some beautiful places, however, some don't allow red wine. Its worth checking out, though.

    prefer reception to be inside in air conditioned space but thats about it and no specific month picked out

    You could probably find a park or garden or even the beach to do the wedding at. For the reception I would look into some of the fraternal organizations like The Elks Lodge. I had my wedding outside at a train depot station and had the reception at a fraternal organization in the small town I live in outside of Raliegh and it only cost 100 for the train depot station and $650 for the fraternal organization and the fraternal organization allowed outside caterrs and alcohol.

    Marbles Musem has some spaces that are $1,000 -- just depends on how much space you need. We are having our reception their in July. It's really neat.

    You can bring your own alcohol, but they have a list of approved caterers.
