Hi Girls!

I have missed you all!  I got a new job about six weeks ago and it's so busy that I never have time to get on TK anymore :(  I haven't gotten any wedding stuff done for six weeks either. :(   FI and I work on different ends of town now and we have his kids every weekend, so it's hard to find time to go meet with vendors even when I'm not working!  Anyone else feeling behind in their planning?

How are you all?

    Hey! How is the job going?

    I feel behind in planning also. FI and I work different schedules; I am 7am - 330pm Mon through Fri and he is 3pm - 11pm Tues through Sat. On top of that we don't live together so I only see him on Sundays and a few hours on Mondays. So when we get to spend time together we either have family stuff to do or we just don't feel like sitting inside planning the wedding lol.

    Maybe plan ahead for a certain day and say you need to get a certain amount of things completed. I hope it works out for ya!

    Hello!  I hope you are enjoying your new job!  

    I would suggest making a calendar of when everything needs to get done and share it on google calendar so you both have access to it.  FI and I have to do that to keep everything straight.  Then you can schedule time that you know both of you have free to get things accomplished.

    Hello!  Congrats on the new job! I  start my new summer job on the 18th.  Just two more days of teaching for this school year!

    I feel ahead in terms of planning, actually.  I just keep it organized - I made a list of the BIG things I needed and checked them off.  My goal for the summer is to start looking at decorative items and finish my save the dates.  Lists are awesome!

    I hope you like your new job, and everything is going well!!! I am also a list person!!! All of our vendors are pretty much booked... we are still thinking about a videographer, and will not meet with a bakery until December or January. I kind of like not having a lot of meetings to go to because it gives us a break before the madness begins. I do have a lot of projects to do though. I first big one will be our save the dates, and then I will start working on the rest of my projects.
