  I'm dancing with both my dad and stepdad, separate songs for each, so FI is going to start dancing with his mom and probably his grandma halfway through each song. That way guests don't have to sit through 4 songs!
  
  My dad and I are dancing to Your Song by Elton John. I'm dancing to My Wish by Rascall Flatts with my stepdad.

  We aren't having any dances. We are dedicating a song to our moms during dinner. We are using "song for mama" by boys II men

  I am dancing to landslide by Fleetwood Mac with my dad and My Wish with my Step Dad.

  I am not sure what to do about father/daughter song...we both aren't fond of dancing and my dad is not quite the most social person. I guess I'll have to see if he is even interested in oig a dance, because to be honest, I'd be fine skipping! 

  
  

  However, I want a non-sappy song and was thinking of the Beatles "In My LIfe." FI thinks that is way too much of a downer and suggests a time has passed type of song, not a good thing. What do you guys think? Any suggestions to a non-sappy but still meaningful song?

  I allowed my dad to pick a song for our dance. "A Song for my Daughter" is what he picked.

  We're doing something a little different. FI's mom has passed and it's really hard for him that she won't be there. I will dance with my dad at some point but it won't be announced or made a big deal of. The song will be The One You Need by Shane & Shane. It won't be announced, we'll just dance when it comes on.
  
  We are doing a special dance with me/my son at the same time as FI/my daughter. Although we have yet to pick that song out.
