Hi! I am looking for a reasonable photographer and have looked everywhere online it seems like.  All i can find in Charleston is over $1500....I want them to look great but at the same time I want to be able to afford them too. Please help if you can! Thank you so much:)

    We used John Mann, he is reasonably priced and he'll travel. My DH's daughter used him and we liked him so well we hired. He's great to work with. Good Luck!

    I just found Anna McSwain (her website comes up when you google)- she has a deal right now that if you pay in full by the end of the year it's $200 off any package. I think for 8 hours, rights to photos, bridal, and engagement session it was only $1000!! And I loved her photos. I should have enough money to book by the end of the week- I'm super excited!!!!!

    Here are some I found when I was looking for our wedding last June that would probably be less than $1500 for at least 8 hours: Jessica Overstreet Photography, Dana Fletcher Photography, Brooke Brooks Photography, Kate McKinley, Red Room Studio. I can't really speak to the quality of them, as we used someone else, but these were just the ones from my spreadsheet that were less than $1500.

    We are using Chi Photography of Charleston.  I've paid a deposit for our wedding next year, but she's running a free wedding contest right now.  So, hopefully we'll win and have the rest paid off.  More money for he wedding if we do.  If not then she's still in our price range.    http://www.chiphotographyofcharleston.com

    Check out Judy Kay Bryan (photosbyjkay.com)  -- She has package deals but you can book her for anything you want.

    She's from Saluda (outside of Columbia) but doesn't charge to travel.

    I used jeff janecek.  Photos turned out great. His site is http://www.jeffjanecekphotography.com/ and dreampop.tv (that's his blog) he also has a facebook under dreampop design as well. I just used him for my wedding photography but they also do video as well. Each wedding gets 2 wedding photographers. They bring their own lighting ect. Very reaonably priced and great pictures! My husband doesn't generally like that kind of thing and the only reason we got a wedding photographer was cause I wanted one (he would have let family do it) and he was very impressed with the photos as well.
