Outside Wedding Music

I am getting married at an outside venue and wanting to know what other people are doing for music at the ceremony.  I would really like to find someone who can play the ukulele or the violin in the area.  If anyone has any recommendations or good expericences with local vendors please let me know.  I am not set on anything yet so other suggestions are welcome.  The cheper the better!!

You can always see if any students at a music conservatory or school would play - and it would be cheap.

UMKC has a webpage on the conservatory section that is devoted to finding student musicians work and experience.  To start you fill out a form with all your info and what you are needing the musican for and the will contact you.

I looked into this about a week ago and they were updating their site so I ended up emailing the info to the admin asst.

    Hope that helps!

Just a suggestion here, but I was on a strict budget. So I aksed my DJ for a suggestion. They actually had two systems. They set one up for outdoor music for the ceremony and then had another system indoor for the reception.  It was alot cheaper to go that route. Plus there was no down time from the outdoor to the indoor. You might want to check with your DJ. I went with Party Sounds of KC.
