Anybody married at the Wayside Inn in May?

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has ideas about rain plans for the Wayside Inn.  We are hoping to have the cocktail hour and possibly the ceremony outside in a garden, but know that the weather can be iffy in May.  I'd love to hear other people's ideas and experiences at the Wayside Inn.  We are having the reception in the Inn (not in the tent).  Thanks!

    We held my sisters shower at the Wayside Inn last June.
    It was indoors in a function room and was lovely...a nasty thunderstorm did roll through with high winds (a tornado watch was issued!) and power went out.  The staff quickly gathered lanterns and candles and placed them around the room.

    Considering the quick weather change they handled it very well.
    Many places will allow for a Plan B for inclement weather and will move you inside. You should double check with your contact and see if they offer this.

    I would ask them about back up options.  Their staff is amazing, you're in great hands! I love the Wayside Inn!
