Ohio is one of those Super Tuesday states - but I think both of the Republican Candidates are scumbags - so I've been rockin' my Obama shirt.

I sometimes like and sometimes dislike politics.

Love Obama too! I am so happy to live in a blue state. I am actually rooting for Rick Santorum to be the nominee because he's so batsh!t that there in no way that the majority would elect him.

I don't think that loving or not loving politics is important. It's more about learning about issues, how they affect you and what can be done to change them. It's important to do research and not listen to everything that comes out of a politician's mouth.

This was just a short rant. It is ALL that is talked about in our house (FI and I live with his family) right now, and I hate it. I always thought that politics was one of the things that was not talked about because of differences of opinions. I just hate hearing about it all the time.

Yeah - I was trying to explain to FI this morning why I wanted Rick Santorum to win the primaries. He was like "But you hate him! You always yell at the TV about him, what's up?" and I was like "He has alienated woman, non-catholics, ethnic minorities, homosexuals, who is left that would vote for him? Obama would have a sweeping victory."

;-) But see - I vote on social issues - not so much the economy because I think everyone will do an equal job with the current economical situation - but I think Obama will move us forward on social issues - while Santorum would push us back about 50 years or so.

I just want someone better than Obama. I think he is doing a horrible job as president IMO.

I love all of his choices especially since he inherited a disaster from Bush. He has a congress that is dominated by Republicans. Every move he tries to make is blocked because they want him to fail. The housing crash happened because Bush took Clinton's surplus and squandered it which took down the rest of the economy.

He ended the Iraq war, wants every American to have the right to Healthcare, killed Bin Laden, killed Qaddafi, enacted the Payroll tax cut, repealed Don't Ask Don't Tell and other things that I am not recalling right now so I don't know what else the guy can do.

The work toward providing Americans with universal healthcare and repealing of Don't Ask/Don't tell - as well as working toward the end of the Iraqi war make his presidency pretty solid IMO. I agree with you. He's all progress.

Not too mention, both he and Michelle appear to be people of integrity.

I'm an Independent and I don't know who I'll vote for November, Obama or the Republican. I think Obama has done a mediocre job... but that Bush did a freaking awful job.

I watched the SC debate on CNN before the primary here (which I didn't vote in because I feel weird voting in a Republican primary when I'm not a Republican, even though I legally can here) and decided that I liked Ron Paul best, Santorum next, then Romney and last Gringrich....

And of course Gringrich won my state. Grr.

Then later I watched the State of the Union and realized I liked Obama better than any of them...

But I still don't know. Truth is, all of them fail to represent me in vital ways, so it's just the thought of "which way they fail me is more important?"
