BEWARE OF AMY HOGA PHOTOGRAPHY!!

She will take your money and not give you everything you paid for. I am still waiting on things from her from my wedding in March 2010 and she is now ignoring any contact I've tried to make with her. I also read another post where she showed up late and sick and ditched out on their wedding last month. She is rude and unprofessional. You've been warned.

    I would file a claim with the better business bureau.  You can also take her to small claims court to get the items she still owes you (assuming you already paid for them.)

    I agree with Liz. That's horrible since been over 6 months and you have nothing from her.

    I agree that it is horrible that she has not gone through with her contract with you. I would take legal action.

    One question, you live in Atlanta, Georgia and was married there. Why are you posting on the Detroit boards?

    I had this same question.  I googled the photographer and came up with some weird websites for her - including one for Ann Arbor.  So maybe that's why?  There was also one for St. Louis, MO.

    She was in Atlanta when we got married there. She has since lived in St. Louis for a short time and has recently settled in Ann Arbor, MI. I got my pictures from her after a small war. She called me and screamed at me and called me rude and ungrateful because I rearranged my schedule to get pictures from her and it wasn't to her satisfaction (I wouldn't chase her around the state of GA). This after putting me off for weeks. I have NEVER had someone scream at me like that in my life. I also got her 2 new clients before she turned into a psycho. I'd say sending business to a small growing company is anything but ungrateful. So, it's just the photo book that I'm out. So, it's not worth small claims at this point.
    Also, I've come across 3 other couples who in the last 60 days have given her money to shoot their weddings and she took payment in full and then just didn't even bother to show up for their wedding.. Since at this point I'm just out a photo book I just want to at least put a warning out so that others don't end up in the same situation. I'm working on filing a report with the BBB, but her new address isn't anywhere yet. I need it to do that.

    Thanks for listening and be sure to quadruple check reviews and references on all of your vendors!
