Alright my FI is Russian and we want to incorprate his Russian heritage into the wedding I found these place card holders, or are they cheesy?

    Does he have any customs or traditions you can incorporate instead?  I mean, if you want to use them to hold the escort cards, okay, but I would leave them behind, and most of your guests probably will too.

    The idea was a no go..he didnt even know what i was talking about when i said a nesting doll...but i think they are cute i was just gonna put the peoples names and table number on them..

    Based on his response, it doesn't sound like he even cares about incorporating his Russian heritage.  I would just drop the whole notion of incorporating Russian altogether, unless it's a theme you would like regardless.

    We are incorporating it, he is from Kiev, the majority of the guests from his side are from either Russia, Ukraine, Armenia and Serbia. We are going to have Russian food, and American food and I dont know what other traditions there are.
