I am looking at both properties for a honeymoon in November. Just wanted to see if anyone had anything to share on which property is better.

    My fiancé and I have stayed at iberostars in costa dorado and also in jamaica. I would definitely recommend the one in jamaica. We really liked both but loved Jamaica and the iberostar there! I liked the weather, atmosphere, and people better. If you do go to the one in Jamaica, I would recommend staying at the rose hall suites level or higher. We stayed in rose hall and loved it. The lowest level resort didn't look as nice.

    i have been to the adults only in jamaica and it was AMAZING.. Everything from top to bottom was top notch so i def recommend it...I am going to the adults only in DR on wednesday so i will let you know how that is

    Also in Jamaica, there are 3 Iberostar hotels that are connect...There is the Rosehall which is the least  expensive (Don't recommend), the Suites which i have stayed in sometime in 2009 and it was lovely. If you stay here, you have access to Rose hall and the suites....I stayed at the Grand Rose hall in 2010 which is the ADULTS only and it was AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGG and would recommend it for a honeymoon

    I agree with PP.  Which hotel are you considering?  Usually the options with "Grand" in the title are the nicest, adults only hotel on the Iberostar resort. My SIL HMed at Iberostar Grand Hotel Bávaro in 2009 and loved it so much that my ILs went in 2010.  Both couples still rave about it.

    Oh yes ladies, look at the grand for both options. Adults only please! There will be lots of time after the honeymoon for children in our lives.
