ReBar

So, while I'm STILL waiting for a proposal from a venue I'd really like to use, I've started to research other places.  Of course, planning a wedding in NY is hard on a tight budget.  I've emailed ReBar and already got their prices.  I've also found lots of fun exciting reviews about this venue on weddingbee.com.

I thought I'd come here to ask if anyone has had or know anyone who has had their wedding here.  I'd love even more to find pictures so I can get an idea of what it could look like.  I'd like to also have my ceremony here.

Thank you so much! The first 2 links were new to me but the 3rd wasn't :-) hope to make a final decision this week!

I just recently went to a wedding at ReBar, and had a fantastic time. I loved the look of the exposed brick and wrought iron. The space also lends itself to a lot of mingling, which is really nice. I'm used to weddings at a banquet hall where people mainly stick to their table or the dance floor, so this was a nice change of pace. Oh and the staff and service were wonderful :)

Thanks for the input mellimel!  It is very helpful.  We're 95% sure we're going to go with this venue but we've not decided to push our wedding back another year so we have time to make a final decision.
  • Hi BlueButterfly, do you mind me asking how many people you are having for your wedding? I love ReBar, but haven't gone to look there yet but may be too small because we are having 200 people.

  • I am having my wedding at ReBar on 5/4/13.  I'm only having around 115, but they told me their capacity is 225.

Hi! im considering a wedding at rebar. We are doing a tour/tasting there next week. Wedding party is  about 115 people.

Are you doing your ceremony at rebar or at brooklyn park bridge?

Also, what was the seating situation? I'm concerned that some of my parents friends/family members will be looking to sit througout the evening, wanted to make sure that was possible.
    Thanks
