Help! Bridal shower question...

So my BFF's shower is tomorrow, I'm the MOH and am throwing the shower.

I'm about to print out the shower favor tags, but I'm not sure what date to put on them? Date of the wedding? or date of the shower? Help!

I was going to print "Thank You" on one side and "M's Bridal Shower <insert date>" on the other.

I would put the date of the shower since the favors are for this event. It might create some confusion if you put the wedding date because people might not think that they should use their present until the wedding.

I don't know but I might put the date of the wedding. That is the event the shower is for... So, I guess I wasn't much help since I said the opposite of PP.

I just checked a favor I received from my friend's shower last spring (it's a candle and there's a sticker on the bottom of it). It has her shower date on it, not wedding date.
