I'm undecided about wedding nails - something bright and glittery to stand out? something nude and subdued? What's everyone else doing?

I'm getting married this January, so i'm doing a dark red.. or something dark. I love those colors anyway but if you want to stand out because you love a certain bold, sparkly color, do it! Just because you're a bride doesn't mean you have to be subdued and pure lol!

Depends on the look you're going for.

If you have a black tie wedding with a very formal dress, glittery bright nails might be a little inappropriate.

If you're having a fun party wedding, go for it!

I'm having a garden party wedding and wearing blue shoes- i might do nails to match!

Unless really bright colors are part of your overall scheme, I might stick with the more natural nails. I think that lots of times the bright nails take away from the shots of your rings and the bouquet in close ups.

I had a french manicure. I had the nail tech use shellac polish because I chip the hell out of my nails within hours of a manicure. It lasts a good one or two weeks.

I'm undecided right now because my natural nails are little stubs (I'm a nervous nibbler). I'd prefer to just have a nice manicure than get acrylic, but I might have to. I want short, natural looking nails with a soft pink. I have a pretty elaborate dress and lots of bold jewelry, so I don't want my nails to compete.

I'll probably end up with a french manicure...shellac style. My natural nails grow pretty nice, so I'd hate to ruin them with acrylics. Although that design that jujub posted is beautiful and would look nice with my gown!

I'm going to have french. I always get french for both manicures and pedicures. I like to be simple. I'm also having a more formal type of wedding.

I'm going bright red! I am not a fan of the typical french manicure that most brides get.

I had a Gelish French manicure, but I asked the nail tech to soften the white, so she put a very sheer shade on top. It looked great!

whatever color you decide to use, shellac is the best way because it gets rave reviews, lasts throughout the wedding (and the honeymoon) and dries in no time flat.

I had red nails. My nails were short and natural. I had the nail technician use a red color that matched my lipstick. It was super inexpenisive.
