Darla Stafford

Does anyone know how far in advance Darla Stafford books dates?  I'm getting married in October and would really like to book her, but she hasn't started booking that far in advance.  I just want to have an idea as to when I should try. TIA

Me: 32 DH: 34
5/17/11 SA- count 38 mil, low motility, traces of white blood cells (2 weeks antibiotics)
6/16/11 SA- count 23 mil, low motility, referred to urologist
dx varicocele
DH ultrasound
6/27/11 SA- count 101 mil, 36% motility, 5% morphology
IUI #1 50 mg Clomid: Back -2- back: 7/27/11 & 7/28/11 = BFN
IUI #2 100 mg Clomid: Back -2- back: 8/25/11 & 8/26/11= BFN
IVF #1(Ganirelix, Follistim, Menopur) ER 11/16/11,ET 11/21/11= BFP 11/29

    I believe she books a little over a year in advance. You will want to call her asap. The more highly recommended vendors on the board book quickly and Oct is a busy season.

    I booked her a little under a year out. I would just email her, let her know you want to book her for next October, and ask when she will start booking for that month so that you know when to contact her.

    she was unavailable on my date which is oct 23rd...i think she is taking time off

    I had emailed her at the end of October and she said that she hadn't started booking yet.  I gave her my date and she told me that she would contact me when she did start to book.  I was just getting worried because I had noticed that some people booked far in advance and I didn't want to miss it.  Thanks for your help!

    I know she wasn't booking for 2010 because she was figuring out when she would be taking time off... but to the best of my knowledge she has been booking for a little while now, you may want to check in with her.

    I just had my hair and make-up trial with her and she is booking for next year.  I booked her about a year out.  I would contact her again now.  She fills very quickly.  Originally, my wedding date was the last she was doing for 2010 because she thought her family might be moving out of the area but they are staying in town and not moving.  Darla said she couldn't believe how quickly the emails started pouring in requesting dates once they made the decision to stay in town. 

    Good luck and let us know if you book her.  I love her and can't wait for our big day in 5 weeks.

    I emailed her again like you all said.  She got back to me this morning and said that she is booking for October and has my date available.  She's sending a contract to me!
    I'm so excited.  I'm sure that I'm going to love her based on all of your recommendations.

    Mego36 - I know you will love her!  She is great.  Her personalality is so calm and relaxed.  I was nervous at my trial but had a blast.  Darla is sweet and reassuring and is fantastic at helping you decide what would look best for you on your special day!
