PIP - Project with Wedding Greeting Cards

So I just thought I would share the collage I made with some of my wedding cards that I got from people. I never know what to do with greeting cards that I get from people. I keep some and recycle others. For the wedding though I wanted to do something crafty with them (which is funny b/c I am not very crafty at all).

I decied to cut out some of my favorite images to make a collage (I think I saw something similar at some point a while back on the internet).

I used cards I liked for the backgrounds and then just kind of pieced things together. I saved any of the messages that were hand written on the insides to put in a wedding scrapbook. One thing I should have done is taken in to account that some of the edges would have gotten cut off by the frame. All in all though I like how it turned out and now it's hanging in the guest bedroom.

I like it!  H keeps asking me why I've kept a box of cards.  Now I have something to tell him.

This is what I want to do :

I hope you can see it.

Basically it's a binder ( a smaller one / two rings) and you put your cards in there. I've been trying to find one locally, but having very little luck. Etsy has some, but those suckers are like 40 + (at least the ones I like).

Regardless, I really like you're idea and might just have to 'steal' it ;)

That is super cute! I repinned it. I just started pinterst last week. It can be addicting!
I bet you could make something like that. I'm not that crafty but sometimes I like to walk about Michael's to get ideas. I am enjoying post wedding crafts a lot more than pre wedding crafts. I think b/c whatever I make is just for me and I don't care as much what others think. :)
