using my own vases?

Is any one planning on using their own vases for the florist to fill, or done this for a wedding? I have alot of my own containers and vases and would love to use them. Is this a bad idea?

    I don't see how it can be a bad idea. I got our vases from the dollar tree, but I made my centerpieces... I think it would depend on the florist as to whether or not they'll use your vases or require you to use theirs.

    I am a floral designer, and I love when brides bring in their own vases. Not all florists may allow it though. I would suggest taking a few of the vases you have in when you have your floral consultation, that way your designer can give you a good price estimate. Bringing in your own vases will help make the wedding more personalized.
