[QUOTE]What to do! I planned my monthly Gift around the wedding day. Go figure I was so stressed and was late now I get to share my day with aunt flow. What to do? Any tips on dealing with cramps? Wedding Day June 30th 2012

Are you on birth control? Just start your next month early so it goes away!
  • I would deal with it the same way I do every month? Assuming you're not a pre-teen bride you should be used to having a period by now.

Accept your Gift graciously. There are these magical cotton ball things that you can shove up your vajay to stop from dirtying your gown. I'd start there.
  • Monthly Gift?  Bahahahahahaaaa

And ditto Diamond. Do you not know how to "deal with cramps" already?

  • Oh! Another tip, rip down the hotel's shower curtain if you plan on consummating your marriage, you don't want to bloody up the honeymoon suite's sheets! It's bad luck! And in bad taste...
  • Bahah monthly "gift."

My planning didn't work out so well and I should start mine next Tuesday (wedding is the 30th as well). I was going to just start a new pack instead of getting my period, but I don't want to totally mess my body up. My last blue pill is on Monday, but I'm going to stop taking them on Saturday so my period should come and go before wedding activities start.
  • I'm not on BC and my planning is horrible too, I'm "supposed" to start on Thursday which means it will be light by Sunday but in no way gone. Praying my body goes a little out of whack and I start tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest...Um, duh, take Midol or ibuprofen? if you are really bloated you can get a stick on heating pad thing but that might not be comfortable under your dress...good luck.

  • I got married last week and had two periods because the stress caused me to start again and I had to deal with it. My husband understood and said we have our whole lives to consumate the marriage as many times and we wanted. hahaha it went away the day before and things were fine, but i would just deal with it the same as every month. take some midal and treat it as usual, maybe a thicker pad to make sure there are no leaks but not much you can do to stop mother nature.

  • I suggest using tampons and midol.

  • I don't see the problem with this except that you'll have to change your tampon with a friend in the stall. You can still have sex on your period. You can still dance and eat and have a great time. Inconvenience? Yes. End of the world? Hardly.
