New to the group- need some accountability

Hi ladies. I'm fairly new to this group. I've tried for the past few months to get into a good workout routine but of course, life has gotten in the way and I havn't made a habit out of it. But now I finally am ready to make a change. My wedding is 5 months away and now its crunch time (I know I won't see drastic results in only 5 months but I don't really need to lose a ton of weight- I want to lose a few lbs and tone up). So I'm hoping some you ladies can help keep me on track and motivated :) Any advice is appreciated :)

[QUOTE]What's your plan of attack to hit your goals?  Do you have an exercise schedule?  Are you meal tracking?  That'll help you stay on track to hit your goals. And I agree with pretty much everything xcaly and stage said - stick around and post on the daily accountability thread.  Having a group of people to check in with daily, who care enough to read my silly exercise updates, is really nice.

</div><div>My goal is to do something active at least 5 days a week. I'm rotating between the gym/weight training one day and training for a 5K on the other days. I get really bored at the gym so I figure rotating will help with that. I'm not really meal tracking or calorie counting- I'm just trying to choose helathier foods and cut back on sweets, alcohol, etc. </div>
  • Thanks for all the advice. I'm gonna give the myfitnesspal app and try. :)
  • I use a bodybugg but have heard great things about myfitnesspal!    Tracking caloric intake is a game changer!  You'll be amazed.  It really makes you think twice before eating those cookies!

I share lots of recipes, motivational stories and funny things that happen along my journey.  I always need a virtual workout partner!   You can follow along at www.facebook.com/fitwithvanessa
