Dress advice

Hi Ladies
I will be attending a wedding in Dayton in mid October.  The wedding is late afternoon.  I'm from South Florida and it's still summer weather here and will be until mid December.   I'm wondering about what to wear.  I was just at a wedding here last week and most of the dresses were sleeveless, or cap sleeves.  Most women wore cocktail dresses.  I was surprised at the number of LBDs I saw.  Anway, is it likely to be cold in October?  Do people just wear sleeveless and cover up with a coat?   I really have no idea of what to expect.  Any help would be appreciated.

In Ohio its hard to say what the weather will be like..I would bring a few options in case its warmer weather and something in case it colder that way you are prepared. I always pack a cute sweater I can throw on over in case its colder out and then you can take it off if you get warm dancing.

The weather is very unpredictable.  I believe the average for October is mid to high 60s during the day, so it is likely to be a cool evening.  I would definitely bring a sweater.

Do you have a sleeveless dress with matching jacket?  That might might work.

I'm getting married here this October. Last year on that date it was in the 70's and perfect. But, other years it hasn't been. Like PP's said, it's unpredictable - plan two different outfits.

Just wear a cute dress and bring along a matching sweater just in case.
