Marriage license question

We are getting married in Manatee county but reside in Hillsborough county.
Do we have to get our license in the county we are getting married in? Or can we get it in Hillsborough county?

    I got married in Sarasota County, and got the license in Hillsborough.  I

    I believe that it is the county that you reside in.

    Nope.... I lived in Sarasota and got mine in Hillsborough.

    Yeah you can do it at any Florida county. We live in Pasco and got ours in Hillsborough.

    You can get it in any FL county as long as you get married in FL. We live in Palm Beach County but got married in Pinellas. We had no problems getting our license in Palm Beach.

    Shockingly doesn't matter. We live in Pasco, got it in Hillsborough. FL is very lenient.
