Well, today was our due date, but she was born Monday at 10:27.
Remember how she was breech at 37 weeks? Well at the following Monday's ultrasound appointment, she was head down again. I went to the hospital a couple weeks ago, and she was still head down. I had been feeling contractions ever since but was only at a 2 1/2, so they wouldn't keep me. Well, Sunday night/Monday morning I felt as if her head was in the birth canal and I had the urge to push. I went to the hospital and was at a 4, frequent contractions, and 70% effaced but they couldn't feel her head. They did an ultrasound around 8:30 AM, and she was transverse (sideways). They had to do a C-section. When they did my spinal, I didn't go numb at all, so they had to put me under anesthesia completely. Turns out that by 10:27 when she was born, she was completely breech again.
This pregnancy was so hard, but she's here, and that's all that matters, lol. Sofia Cristina was born on 2/13 at 10:27 AM. She weighed 6 lbs 9 oz and was 19 inches long.
She also looks just like her big brother. He has a dimple on his right cheek, and she has a dimple on her left cheek, lol.
