Inexpensive Florist/Cake?

I'm in the Harrisburg area and am looking for someone to do my flowers and cake at a reasonable price. These are two things I didn't really want to blow the budget on but want them to look nice.

Thanks Ladies! :)

I've heard that Marion Omlar from Backwoods Florist is really great with prices for flowers!

Same here, so I'm having the Dauphin County Vo-Tech Ornamental Horticulture class do our flowers and About Weddings in Lemoyne is doing our cake.

I never thought to have the horticulture class do flowers, what a great idea.

I am also having my flowers done by the Dauphin County Vo-Tech students.  My cousin had hers done there and they turned out great.

I heard great things too about Vo-Tech!  My friend ordered her flowers online and they turned out pretty good! (If you want to do it yourself)

My friend did wedding cupcakes for my July wedding. Have you considered that?? It was way more cost effective. They were delicious and I know she does events. I can give you contact info if you like?

Absolutely jmc! I have a friend who was considering doing cupcakes but she is also in the wedding party so I don't want her to feel overwhelmed! If you would like you can email me the info at emmatroutman@yahoo.com

We had cupcakes through Jasmine and they were delish!  I don't know about cake prices, but the cupcakes were fantastic, she delivered and set up for us.

Who do you call to inquire about pricing for Vo-Tech?? I looked at their website, but I couldn't find anything.

Call the Vo-Tech at 652-3170 and they'll transfer you to the Horticulture class. I made an appointment with them to go over what I wanted and then they called me with a quote.
