? for those not using pocketfolds

For those of you who are not using pocketfolds, how are you "packaging" your invitations? We'll have the invitation card, reception card, RSVP card, and RSVP envelope. Are you just sticking everything in there? Using a belly band or a ribbon? I'm undecided. I almost wish they sold half pocketfolds--I don't want to put my invite in one, but I'd use the half that holds the RSVP and reception cards, if that makes any sense. What are y'all doing? Bonus points if you provide a picture!

I have an invitation, RSVP post card, and an additional insert with the web address/accommodations/etc. I'm just stuffing them in the envelope, probably the invite in the back because it's the largest, the other two cards are a little smaller. I love all the ribbons and sticker and foils and all that stuff, but I keep reminding myself not to spend the money on something most people will look at for 5 seconds and toss.

Cards and pockets has the type of pocketfold that I think you're talking about. They call it the panel pocket. http://www.cardsandpockets.com/specialorderpocketfolds.aspx
Other than that, I'd probably just put the items right into the envelope with the invitation, like PP have said.

I just posted on the fb group but I'll post pictures here too. I made my own kangaroo pockets with patterened paper I bought at cards and pockets.

the back of the invitation. Sorry all my pictures always end up sideways. Why I hardly ever post them.

Aaaaand that one worked. Weird. Anyway, it's really bad picture quality but you get the idea.

I have the invites and RSVP cards... I put the RSVP cards in the pre stamped RSVP envelope and then put that in with the invite.

I'm layering them. Invitation on bottom, then reception card, then response card tucked under the response envelope flap. I think it's fine if you put it in the envelope from there, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a blush velvet ribbon to tie them all together. I plan on doing a simple not - no bow.

I got some "invitation wraps" from Michaels that match the invitation. It basically wraps around all the papers (invitation, reply card, etc) and fits neatly in the envelope.

This. We did this for my BFF's invites a couple of years ago. People took all the items out of the envelope at the same time even without anything actually holding them together.

Same here. I also think all that stuff is a waste of time and money, but invitations aren't high on my list. :)

We have invite, enclosure card, RSVP card & RSVP envelope.

Tucking the RSVP card, under the RSVP envelope flap. not sure what order to put them in but basically stuff them in inner envelope as neatly as possible.

I'm doing gatefold invitations. The invitation itself will be held closed by simple ribbon, and then the inserts will be inside, probably ordered by size (smallest on top). We're doing RSVP postcards, so that will probably be the last thing in the pile, but they will be big enough for people to see. Plus, they'll stand out because they're kind of shiny.
