Pearl Shoes

So I fell in LOVE with these shoes...

Mostly because they go perfectly with my dress, I know they wont be seen but I will know! Also because I am trying to incorporate pearls as much as possible into my theme.

I checked ebay, etsy, google and I cannot seem to find a cheaper similar version. Has anyone else ever run across shoes that are similar to those?

You could totally make them yourself. Just get some white, ivory or even silver pumps and glue the pearls and other bling on yourself. There are tons of tutorials on strassing shoes and this is the same thing, but with more pearls than rhinestones. Flat back pearls would work best, but even round ones are doable. E6000 will hold it all on better than anything else. It will take a lot of time, so be prepared for that. Check out the DIY board for others who have done their own shoes or google "shoe strassing" for tips and ideas.

I think this would be a fun DIY project! Maybe use solely pearls and minimal/no rhinestones to avoid the catching problem and use some sort of sealer coating both to keep them on and smooth over rough edges.

I was thinking about DIYing them but I thought that was outrageous! So since you guys also thought of it I think Im gonna do it! Hopefully it works since Im soooo not artsy!
