how much fabric does it take to do one bow?
my fabric arrived today (a pretty royal blue organza) and i dont think i have enough (i can order more but would need to do so asap)

i have two bolts of roughly 9 yards each so a little more that 18 yards to cover 76 chairs. Is it going to be enough?

    My DOC is handling all of the fabrics so luckily I don't have to deal with that, but I think you need more because I was in a sorority and for recruitment chair bows we needed around 3 nine yard bolts to cover 50 chairs - I THINK. Disclaimer: I might be off and the bolts may have been smaller than that, but we definitely used at least 3. 

    Is the fabric returnable if you end up not using an extra bolt? If so, I would definitely order to be safe.

    I would do a mock up of one chair bow and calculate how much you'll need from there.
