Venue Help!!!

Hi Ladies,

I'm getting married on 10.01.11 and can't pick a venue. I'm stuck between the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Newcastle Golf and the Seattle Aquarium. Any advise on any of the venues would be a huge help. 

My colors are eggplant and hunter green and I'm going for more dark enchanted forest kinda thing (hard to explain/picture I know) but think branches with flowers for center pieces, all guests in dark colors, dark crystal ornaments on centerpieces. Hope that helps. 

Oh did I mention I have to tell Newcastle yes or no by tomorrow at 5.

    I vote for the Fairmount--it's so beautiful and I really think it would look great with the colors and theme you are using.  Also, doing at a hotel will cut out a lot of logistical problems with getting people from the reception home safely, and it's such a nice place to stay!

    For your theme of dark enchanted forest it sounds like the Newcastle Golf would make more sense as opposed to a hotel or aquarium. My friend got married at a golf course in Woodinville and the backdrop of the all the trees and scenery were gorgeous. Congrats!

    Depending on the room, I'd say the Fairmont Olympic has some breathtaking rooms. Especially their Garden room. It's so gorgeous with those immense floor to high-high ceiling windows and all that natural light, which might help balance while complementing the dark enchanted forest type feel. I also love the staircases at the Fairmont, plus the opportunity to take photos just outside of Luly Yang with their beautiful showcase windows.

    Oh man, I would have lovedlovedloved to get married at the Aquarium, but it was out of our price range. It is just gorgeous--I went to an event at the aquarium, and the main reception was in the room where one of the walls is floor-to-ceiling aquarium. So fantastic. Do the Aquarium! I'm so jealous!

    My vote is for Newcastle Golf Club!!!! FI took me there for Valentine's Dinner last year and the views are GORGEOUS! If I could have afforded it, we would have gotten married there, hands down.

    i vote aquarium....when i looked into it about 3 years ago, it was an all inclusive package....and it was a good deal. my only issue with it was that you had to start later than i liked....

    reason number 2 for the aquarium.. jenny gg (the best photog ever) yesterday on facebook said she wanted to do an aquarium wedding!

    All three venues are great! I looked into both the Seattle Aquarium and Newcastle Golf for our wedding and to me they can both handle the theme you want to do. Fairmont is gorgeous too and their rooms are outstanding. So you can't go wrong with either one but if I had to choose, I would do the Aquarium. :) It's amazing with that floor to ceiling aquarium tank and it definitely can tie into your enchanting theme even though it's sea creatures swimming around. :)

    omg i love the aquarium! it creates such gorgeous photos and for some reason, I actually think your theme would work out there. I vote that or newcastle, but i don't see your theme working at newcastle. but i love it there also!
