Venues for reception and Ceromony

I am looking for a Cheap place to have my wedding and reception, and am open to all ideas.I need help finding a place. If anyone has ideas or knows of places please let me know as this is one of the harfer parts fo me and my fiancee.

What is the max you would want to pay for rental?

Not only what's your budget, but how big is your guest list and any area you'd like to stay in? In general, the further you go outside MSP, the cheaper it's going to be. Also, looking at places that aren't banquet halls or specify themselves as a wedding location tend to be a little cheaper and don't require food/bev minimums which can kill your budget.

Like I'm getting married at Centennial Lakes Park, they're a city park and you just pay a rental fee. You bring in your own vendors except for their required beverage provider whether you serve alcohol or not.
