I've planned all along to get the white rose wedding package from Costco, ordered it today. I"ve been planning on this for a while, imagine my horror when I checked their website and it said the orders HAD to be 30 days or more before the need-by-date !!!! So I called and spoke with a customer service person who called the floral farm and no problem, I'll have them by August 25th, allowing 2 days to aclimate to the water/open a bit.
For $400 (plus tax) I got
1 bridal bouquet
4 BM bouquets
1 toss bouquet (we'll use this near the memorial candles)
6 bouts
6 corsages
1 centerpiece (probably put this on the guest book table)
I also ordered the centerpiece flowers from the local Costco "floral/arranger/kiosk preparer". Got 40 stems of white asiatic lillies, 6 dozen long stem white roses and about 80 stems of baby's breath for $160. I have been using my Costco American Express card for travel, accumulating points for a Costco gift card. I have over $150 on my coupon, so when I pick up the flowers I only have to pay $10.
So, I'm feeling pretty good about this, LOL.
Also, my coworkers took me out to lunch at Andiamo's in Royal Oak. My fabulous boss bought me a white chocolate wedding shoe from Gayle's Chocolates in Royal Oak. Mine has a white medallion, not silver. But it is SO CUTE........I might just put it on my cake table!
