For Sale: All-incluseive trip to St. Lucia

Hey Ladies,

I have a voucher that I won for a trip to St. Lucia. The certificate says 5 day/4 night all-inclusive say for 2 adults to Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa in St. Lucia.

I will not be using this voucher as I already have my honeymoon booked. This voucher is worth $2,200.00 but I'm selling it for a fraction of the price.

If interested, feel free to email me at tribecca212002@yahoo.com and I can give you my cell number to talk and answer any questions. I also have a picture of the certificate if needed.

tribecca, didn't you post something similar on the Wedding Classifieds yesterday and were subsequently told NO VENDORS?!?!?!!?

    You have been reported.
  • Hi Sky2play,

If you read below the posts, they say I'm not a vendor, which I'm NOT!!! I have provided my email and am willing to give my cell phone number. I simply won a contest and have some of the vouchers that I would like to sell (just as anyone else trying to sell their personal things here).

(And yes, I did see the original post before it was deleted, I just chose not to comment.) FWIW, even if you aren't a vendor, there is no way I would ever buy something so expensive like this over the internet.  While you may be an honest person and just trying to make money off of something you won, it's still too sketchy to risk. I really don't think you'll be able to sell it, sorry.

Thanks! I am honest and I'm willing to meet in person. Like I've said a million times, I won these vouchers and want to get rid of them. It's incredible how I'm giving brides a break so they don't have to pay full price and i'm getting such bad comments. If I was a vendor, I would have either quit, or not given a phone number or email or even be willing to meet. If someone calls me or meets up with me they have no obligation to buy anything. I completely understand your point and that's why I'm willing to meet up in a public place. Believe me, I fear my safety. I'm willing to meet somewhere public with the bride/fiance/mother... matter of fact, I'll meet at the police station. Why doesn't anyone else here get bombarded when they put a 'FS' on their item for sale? Thanks for your defense!

Get a life! Stop stalking me!!! If you're not interested then look at the next post. No one's obligating you to buy anything. I'm as honest as any other bride on here trying to sell something she doesn't want!

    Haha, ski is a stalker.

I didn't see the original post but I would not encourage anyone to put their email or phone number on this site. It's a public message board that anybody can come look at. That is inviting real stalkers to come.

  • Well I wasn't necessarily defending you, just pointing out the inaccuracies of Ski's "that's why your post was deleted" statement.

Even if you were willing to meet in person, there's no way to verify what you are selling is legit, ya know?  Either you'd sell it for way less than it's worth and people would go by the adage "If it's too good to be true..." or you sell it for about what it's worth and then it wouldn't be worth the risk that it's not legit.

Can you just sell/gift the trip to a friend or family member or something?  Or I'm not sure how this would work, but donate it to a charity?  If you were successful in donating it, you may be able to get a tax writeoff.

Because honestly, I really don't think you are going to find a buyer unless they know you personally (and I don't just mean meet you in person.)
  • Yeah I know what you mean. The certificate comes from a trustworthy source. It's from 'Your Wedding TV Bridal Show' which is part of the Clear Channel Radio Show - YWTV. It can be looked at www.yourweddingtv.com or www.floridaweddingexpo.com. I've been listing it locally but figured I would do it here as well just to get the word out. That's all!
  • I heard that resort is actually nice. They have an adult only side and family side. WE almost got married there because they have this really cool lighthouse where one can have the ceremony, but overall it wasn't what we were looking for. May I ask why you and your fiance aren't going on the trip? We love to travel and we take any trip that we get, lol. $1500 is a fair price for that trip, but like other mentioned, I'd be hesitant to buy a voucher from someone I've never met.

I was wondering the exact same thing! Why not just take the trip, even if you have another plan for your HM. St. Lucia is amazing, why not just take the trip!
  • I looked at all of OP's posts and every one of them had to do with vouchers for trips and other things. OP may not be a vendor but it is extremely sketchy when all you post about is trying to sell vouchers or recommending the vendors who you won vouchers from.

  • OP: If you are legit, I'd try selling to someone you know-a friend, co-worker, etc. Honestly, anybody with Internet smarts is not going to buy from you or meet up with a stranger, even if it is in public. It's a little suspicious too that all of your past posts are about vouchers. And I don't think it's wise for YOUR safety to post your phone number or email on the Internet. THis just sounds bad all around.
