Bridal shop in San Jose area?

Hi everyone,

I just moved to the San Jose/Silicon Valley area.  Can anyone list any good places to get a dress?  I don't want to spend more than 1500.  In fact, if it was under 1000 that would be even better!  I don't want to go to San Fran if I can avoid it.  I know there would be lots of shops there though.

Thanks!

I got my dress at Trudy's in the Pruneyard (my dress was under 1000) Linda was an amazing consultant. She was not pushy what so ever.

Bay Area Bridal is in Cupertino across from Cupertino Square, I tryed on a few dresses here and there customer service is not the greatest.

There is also The Unique Bride and Paper and Petals in Burlingame. Both of these places were great and they have decent prices.

I tried on dresses at Bay Area Bridal - mostly because they had a good plus size section. Customer service is not that great. I didn't really like how they don't allow pictures at all. Which is probably why I didn't buy - I couldn't remember how it looked on me. The selection is really good though. I didn't end up buying my dress there though so I can't comment on what happens after.

I second the recommendation for Trudy's at the Pruneyard in Campbell. We got BM dresses there for my friend's wedding, and Connie was amazing. She kept pulling dresses for us that she thought we'd like, and she was right.

I will definitely go there when I start looking for a dress.

i shopped at trudy's and found the service and selection to be really good but the prices were really high. i ended up buying my dress at dori anne veils, she runs a store in her own studio and her prices were the best. i also shopped at novella bride in sf; loved the stuff there and the girls were super nice too. the dresses at novella were in great condition. i'd recommend shopping around and then calling dori anne veils for a price quote once you've figured out what you like.

I also got my dress at Trudy's, for $815. They have a lot of options for under $1000, and definitely for under $1500. We also got the BM dresses from there because your BMs get a 10% discount if you got your wedding dress there. Between those and my own dress I've worked with several different salespeople and they've all been fantastic. The customer service is excellent.
