My MOH has spoken to me about when and we dediced on Sept 1st, but otherwise she asked for my guest list which I havn't provided yet.

I've just been so busy with work and planning that I've put that to the side. When is a good time to start sending out the BS invites?

Since I work nearly every weeked, I had to know at least the date of the bridal shower so that I could book the time off. My mother and mother-in-law were the one's who threw the shower. I did give them a guest list, but realyl knew most of the details- since we all went to lunch to talk about it. I was also able to pick out most of the desserts (thanks to allergies). I'm not sure how involved I was supposed to be or not, but I did have a great time..... and got a mix master :P

As far as I know, I am not having one. It's kinda rude for me to have one anyways since its a second wedding. I wouldn't mind a little pre-wedding get-together with the family though. No presents though.

I grew up about 2 hours from where FI & I live... My mother and FMIL have planned 2 showers (1 upstate & 1 downstate) so I asked to know when they were so I could keep those weekends free. My mother is adament about me not knowing anything else!

Our wedding is October 5th - I have two showers. My FMIL is July 28 while my mom's is August 12th.

I just had dinner with a BM las night and she asked me what I wanted in a shower, to send her a guest list and possible dates. Other then that it's to the hosts (my 4 BMS and my SM)

I had my first bridal shower last month and all I knew was the date. My MOH who happens to be FI's sister, FMIL and FI's grandma did all the planning. It was wonderful!! My mom is planning on hosting one in August, but no date has been set yet.

Mine is August 24th, with the bachelorette on the 25th. Needed to know dates so I could let all the OOT family know - a bunch of them want to come! but other than that, that's all I know!

My mom and sisters (MOH's) are throwing one in MN on August 11th. My FMIL and SIL's are throwing one on July 28th in IL where my FI is from. I really don't know much except a few things my mom has let slip but my sisters are pretty secretive about it.

I have two. FMIL and FI's aunts are throwing one on August 25th and my mom is throwing one the second weekend of September. I know a few details, like favors and venue. Everything else is on them.

My FMIL is having one for his side of the family on Aug. 11th. Thats really all I know so far as she knows the guest list for them and is doing it on their side of town.

MY sister is working on throwing me antoher one with my Mistress of Ceremonies, I've handed over the guest list but they are still figuring out a date.

Mine is July 8th. All i asked my MOH (sister) and mom who are hosting it was when & where, nothing else. But my sister wont tell me where, so i only know of the date! But i have a sneaking suspicion of where it is bc a friend said "your shower is at the place we wanted to get married" and i remember her talking about this place...so i think i know but i wont say anything to my sister!!

I kknow that my BMs have been in contact about it but I don't know any of the details. I did let them know that I did not want it at Fi's moms house (too small and it would be too much stress on her) or at my sister's (MOH and because of where she lives, no one ever goes to her parties) because both of them have offered to host it. And I also asked them to keep my mom involved because she would be upset if she wasn't. I do need to get them my guest list though.

I told my MOH exactly what I wanted and the theme! Lol. My MOH is my sister and she was like "Isn't it my job to plan it?' so I told her "But this is what I want" She is totally fine with it because she knows I get a little crazy when things don't go the way I envision. I have not had a Bridezilla moment to date but I did get a little crazy when we were younger during my Quincenera. We haven't set a date yet but we will probably do it August or September since I am getting married October 20.

I know where and when and that's it. I told them I really didn't like the idea of a surprise when my mom and sister told me they were throwing me one. Beyond that I'm sure there's not much else I can't figure out haha, but it's sweet that they're keeping it all a secret.

I had an early family shower (in march) because my MOH is a cousin and lives several states away and it was best for her. No one else has offered to throw me a shower.
