Venue review

So I know some of you here have had bad experiences with The Stowe building and Ryan, but we had our wedding at The Mission Theatre last night, and everything was awesome! They were there at 9am to let us in, they were very accommodating with all the requests we had, basically let us run the show (because that's what we wanted). Ryan came up to me at a few points in the evening to check on us and see if we needed anything. He was there all day and night, along with our bartender and DJ. They even let my aunt and uncle come back this morning to pick up some stuff they couldn't fit in the car last night.

I don't know exactly what happened with the Stowe building, but my experience with The Mission Theatre, Ryan, and Lindsay was all very positive. If anyone has any questions, PM me (and page me on the board since I don't think to change my PMs often), and I'll tell you about my experience!

WE ARE ALL GETTING TIRED OF RYAN CREATING HIS OWN WONDERFUL REVIEWS. HOW DO YOU THINK HE BAMBOOZLED OVER 150 BRIDES IN THIS CITY. THE KNOT SEEMS TO BE A TOOL  OF CREEPY VENDORS TOOTING THEIR OWN HORN. BEWARE OF VENDORS THAT PRETEND TO BE BRIDES.  THERE ARE MORE RELIABLE REVIEW ABOUT RYAN AVAILABLE ON YELP AND OTHER POSTINGS ON THE KNOT. CHECK UP GIRLS. MISSION THEATER BRIDES ARE ALREADY RUNNING AWAY FROM RYAN. CHECK WITH CATERERS AROUND TOWN IF YOU DO NOT TRUST MY FINDINGS.

I am a real bride. I'm not going to try to change your mind, because nothing will at this point. However, I will say again, I had a good experience. I know you were upset with your service with him, and it may be completely valid, I was just telling my point of view.

If you want to, go to the Snarky Brides board and ask them if I'm real. I've been over there for nine months, and have shared a lot with those girls.

Don't take it out on me because you had a bad experience. I really don't want to be banned for giving my opinion. Just wanted to give a different view.

I don't want to be argumentative, but what do I have to do? Hold up a piece of paper with the date and take picture of myself an post it here? I would if TK would stop having issues with it. In fact, as soon as I can, I will do just that.

Just because my opinion is different than yours doesn't mean it's any less valid.

Good luck with all of your planning!

  • Ryan is writing these reviews clearly!  Why else does SEWF have 2143 posts. You are a vendor if you post that much. If you are a bride/groom, you may have 250-500 posts if you ask a lot of questions.

Jack and I had nothing but issues with Ryan and the Mission Theatre experience. He promised things to us that never came about. Sent my mother an adjusted bill for services that were not performed. I should have listened to others, it is my fault for not wanting to spend a little more and have a real wedding or just saving it for a new house and getting married privately. This was a total joke. The day of our wedding the venue smelled of a bar bathroom. DJ was doing his own thing. Felt rushed to get out.  Ryan was rude and made my tear up on many occassions. I thought Jack was going to punch him. It was supposed to be our day. It was not. He also ripped off others in the Stowe Building scam.  I saw his wife on hidden camera on Fox 4 problem solvers. I was not surprised.
