Thank you cards

What are you girls doing for thank you cards? Have you finished them yet? Are you using different cards for the shower and different ones for the wedding? Also, do they match all of your other stationery (invitations, placecards, etc.)?

Sorry for all the questions lol. We just received our first wedding gift in the mail and I'm surprised at how early it is! I checked one of our registries and saw that someone else bought something too! I feel like I need to get moving on the thank you cards so that I can send them out whenever the gifts start rolling in!

    Our wedding thank yous came in out invite suite.  IDK what I'm going to do got shower thank yous. I'm hoping my sister got ones that match the invites.  We also got our first shower gift.  I'm going to wait until after the shower to send the ty card with the rest of them.

    We haven't gotten any gifts yet and I haven't bought any thank you cards either. As much as I would have loved if they matched our invites, I don't care as much about those and I wasn't going to pay another $350 for thank yous that matched. So, I'll buy whatever ones I can find that I like and are a good deal. I will probably have two sets of thank yous, one for the shower and one for the wedding. I don't want guests getting two of the same cards.

    i bought thank you cards that match our wedding colors for the shower.  For the wedding we have thank you that matches all our wedding invites and stationary.

    <div>I am with Brit! i got a coupon for 20% off Thank you cards with our invitations and i went to look at them and they were just as expensive as the invites + rsvp! so we will keep and eye out.  I might just look for blank Thank you Cards at Target or craft store etc.</div>

    they have boxes of 50 thank you cards in the wedding section at hobby lobby, with different designs.

    I'm going to get these and use a coupon unless they are running a half off sale, and they should be about 10 dollars for two boxes.  100 should be plenty for the wedding.
    I will also send out thank you cards for bridal shower gifts as well. 
    I'm also not too concerned about them matching our wedding invites or colors.

    My bridesmaids actually picked out my TY cards, they matched the wedding colors..and the TY cards were given to me after the shower w/ the envelopes already addressed for each guest...so I just had to write my TY's out... I actually just got them all sent out yesterday..But, since I didn't pick out my TY's for my shower, I will do something different for the wedding TY's...

    Separate cards for shower and wedding.
    Neither will probably match my wedding colors. For my shower I just bought a pack of 50 from WalMart. And for wedding maybe I will do a picture card with a wedding picture on the front??

    Good, I'm glad I'm not the only one that doesn't have matching invites. Knowing me, I will probably get something pink, which would match our invites. Again, I'll be on the lookout for a good deal on ones that I like. I'll definitely check out the Hobby Lobby cards, thanks! :)

    I havent bought any yet.  They arent going to match my invitations since I made the invitations.  I dont feel like making the thank you cards.  When I was at hobby lobby today I was looking at some thank you cards.  The His and Her thank you cards were like $10 for 50.. This week the wedding stuff is 50% off.  Just look at hobby lobby and wait till they are on sale. Thats what I am doing.  GL girl
