Nail Polish Colors for the Big Day?

Not sure which color to purchase--I'm probably going to have them done but I want to own the polish so I can do touch ups if need be. Does anyone have a color recommendation for a pinky-nude color?

I've heard about one called "ballet slipper" but am not sure what brand that is. Would love some feedback :)

    Essie Ballet Slipper!
    Ulta has lots of great colors of Essie and OPI, which are, in my opinion, the best nail polish until you get over 10/bottle.

    I have a friend that does nails, and she's giving me a no chip manicure. That's going to be a godsend for me since we're getting married in Vegas. That's the last think I want to worry about that weekend.

    I have heard great things about the Essie Ballet Slipper.  

    If you go to the OPI website, you can click on "soft shades" under "nail color" it has a full list of great pinks and pales that you can try on the internet hand model.  You can change their skin tone and nail length and everything.  I think it's kind of fun.
    And of course, gives you an idea of what you want when you go to buy.

    If you want a darker pink-nude, Essie Eternal Optimist is my favorite.

    May I suggest a Shellac manicure?  They have a color that is almost the same as OPI's ballet slipper and you won't  have to worry about chipping at all.  Plus, they last 2 or 3 weeks so they'll look gerat for your honeymoon and you can just take off the polish with normal nail polish remover.

    ^^^^I think this type of manicure is pretty much the best invention ever!

    I got a Shellac manicure for my Matron Of Honor's big day and it chipped RIGHT before we were to walk down the aisle, luckily it wasn't MY big day, but just want to forewarn you, the Shellac manicures aren't as awesome as some people think - I wish I hadn't spent the extra money!
