2nd fitting (pip)

So I had my second fitting yesterday--I was mostly happy with the dress.  I am a little concerned about the armpit boobage bulge I have going on.  Of course, I didn't say anything during the fitting but my very wise MOH mentioned maybe it was the bra (its kinda pushing eveything up which I do not need)...so of course I irritated my seamstress last evening and I am going to go back in and try it on with a different bra and no bra...opinions?

So pretty!  I can't see the boobage thing, but what about just sewing in cups?  That should avoid any smushing.

I love the dress, you look so great!

I would def talk to your seamstress about it.  I'm sure she gets this problem a lot and will have a solution for you (maybe a different bra or no bra at all).  If you notice it now I feel like you are going to hyper aware of it the day of the wedding and in all of your pictures. That being said I think you look amazing

    Keep us updated!

It looks great, but I can kind of see the boobage you're talking about. Is the bra you had on a pick up? I would try it with the different/no bra and see what looks best!

I have no opinion on the boobage issue because I have not have my gown altered yet or know much about sewn cups, etc. But I just wanted to say you look beautiful in your gown :)

Thanks ladies, the bra is a long line and it kind of pushes up.  I ordered some minimizer strapless bras online last night to try those out.  I just don't want to be self concious all day!

you look gorgeous! I think all you need are some cups sewn in or a different bra and you won't get the push-up effect that is bothering you. what a beautiful dress (it does fit you perfectly!) and veil :)

I can't speak to the boobage issue as I have the exact opposite (have none, want more!), but I just wanted to say, your dress is just GORGEOUS!! Loooove it, and the veil is perfect too! :)

I think you look awesome! I love you dress. I know what you mean about the boobage though. I am slightly larger on top and no matter how much I work out or how much weight I loose, I have the spillover in EVERY dress I wear that is strapless or thin strapped. I have found that sometimes NOT wearing a bra (if the dress has boning or shaping inside) can help. You can still get enough support from the dress that way. If your dress doesn't definitely try sewing in a bra. I've done that in the past with other dresses and its helped.

First of all, you look stunning. The dress fits you wonderfully.

If you're concerned about the boobage, I'd suggest having cups sewn in. I wore a long line bra and had the "everything gets pushed up" thing going on. I didn't realize it until I looked at my pics, but I had some mad back fat going on. It has to go somewhere, right?

On the other hand, it didn't make one difference as to my happiness and enjoyment of my wedding day. I did my best to lose some weight and tone before the big day, but when it came down to it, DH was focused on my face, my eyes, and giving me smooches. The bulge was the farthest thing from my mind.

You are going to look great!  The lace is sooooo pretty!

Having cups sewn in or changing the bra can make a huge difference.  I have a small chest, and since my dress has a fairly deep V in the front & back, decided to have cups sewn in.  My seamstress had me try it with different sizes/shapes of cups before picking the one I went with, and it's amazing what a different look each one gave.  I chose something that gives me a very natural look, but some of the others were giving me crazy cleavage (something I am NOT used to, and wasn't comfortable with for my wedding).  A good seamstress should be able to help you out!

The Dress looks great on you!!! It looks actually like my second one... but I see what your talking about either try a different bra maybe its pushing you up a little to much or ask to have some cups sewn in and see if that will take the girls down a notch

    You look great!!!

If the bra issue don't cure it...I think if the sides are cut a bit lower, it doesn't do it as much.  I noticed the closer the seem is to my armpit...the more it does that, but it may just be me.
