    Apparently no one has taken a vacation :)

    FI and I went to CA in October, just a few days before our engagement.  It was a fun time, we went out for a friend's wedding and a different friend road tripped it back with us.  We went through Sacramento, Reno, Jackpot, NV, Idaho, WY, and then MT.  My friend was looking at the map and said "hey, we're close to Yellowstone!" but we had already passed the highway turnoff. 

    We looked on the map and found a road that would cut us across so we took it.  It must have been 50 miles of gravel (no big deal for us because nearly all the roads off the hwy are gravel) but my friend said "WHERE ARE WE?  I can hear Deliverance playing!"  We made it to Yellowstone and got to see elk, bison, and a few deer. 

    This photo is at the Snake River just outside Twin Falls, ID.  The first time I passed by there (when I moved to MT in 09) I thought it was the Grand Canyon.  It's amazing.  I don't have any photos of the trip on my work comp, so I stole this off her FB.  I look like crap, I didn't do my hair to be sitting in the car all day.

    Oh oh me!  I didn't get to play last week.  My parent's house is off of a golf course in NC that hosts several charity tournaments.  One afternoon my dad and me were outside and we saw three golf cards roll by (normal regulations only allow a party of 4) so we knew they were special people.  We went out to the course and met Michael Jordan (his playing buddings inclulded Charles Barkley and several other football/basket ball stars).  Michael was the only one who didn't stop at the snack shack on the 9th hole, so I only met him.

    Also, my aunt is Bobbie Wygant.  She is the anchor who was on the air in Dallas when JFK was assisinated.  She announced it to the country.
