Hair / MakeUp

I am an out of town bride with a Detroit wedding in May and I need some recommendations on where to get my hair and make up done.  I can go to a salon for hair but am hoping the makeup artist might be able to come to my room.  My mother-in-law to be says I can use her salon but I am worried that we don't have the same taste.  Normally I would avoid calling myself a hipster but for the sake of easy direction I'll say it here.

    Where in MI are you getting married? Do you have a budget for hair/make-up? Will it be the whole BP or just you? I'm completely in love with Jon and Peter from Priss Salon in Birmingham. It was $75-$150 per service. They were amazing. We used them for a wedding I was in and I wished I had used them for my wedding. I did not care for the vendor I used (Posh in Milford).

    My friend also swears by Jon ahd Priss.

    If you need something cheaper, I really liked MakeUp Hair By Cher - check my vendor review in the stickies for the web address.

    I'm using Mi Amore Event Hair & Makeup.  She comes to your house or whatever you're at, and can do both hair and makeup.  http://www.miamoreeventhairandmakeup.org/

    <div>I haven't spoken with anyone from the salon, but their services list shows updos as starting at $45+ for above shoulders/no wash/no blowdry hair and $65+ for below shoulders/no wash/no blowdry hair. They add $20 to those prices if they wash and blow dry hair. Their makeup price is $50+.</div>
