The good: After a rough week last week with FI's job disappointment, it turned into perfect timing that my parents went out of town. My brother is rarely home so FI and I had the house to ourselves most the weekend and just had some good quality time. It seemed to keep us positive and just felt really nice to laugh and forget for a little about the hardships he's having to finding a job.
The bad: I was supposed to have a final on Saturday that was open online from 1am-11pm. At 9am I see an email from someone in my class saying the exam wasn't up yet and could anyone see it. Someone replied they had been trying to get in since 1am and emailed the prof with no response. The entire day my whole class emailed back and forth "anyone see it? anyone hear from the prof?" NOTHING. So last night at 8:30PM she finally sends out an email saying "The final is up now you have until tomorrow at 11pm to do it. THere were technical difficulties." No apology. No "let me know if this is a problem." No real concern. And technical difficulties? I guess you were the only person who couldn't sign in and you had no way to email us whatsoever to let us know what is going on. I was fuming. I have an A in the class and am sure I can do well on the final but I work all day today and have a test in my other class this week so was not scheduling to have to take a 3 hour test tonight. I replied to her saying that this is in line with the course schedule and it is unreasonable to expect that people don't have other committments. And that while technical difficulties aren't her fault, they aren't ours either and since we didn't receive prompt information it shouldn't burden us. Of course she hasn't responded (there have been a few unanswered emails from her already this semester) so I'll probably have to take it and sacrifice studying for my other class but I promise you she'll get a scathing evaluation.
The ugly: Have my period this week and my cyclical ance I get is out of control. Just want to hide my face this week!
