WOW! Long awaited pictures. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL! So festive yet professional. I love the vintage feel -- you guys did such a nice job of executing that vision. Kudos to everyone involved for the most detailed, wonderful invitations! And the mailing from Bridal Veil is just the perfect touch.

I told Steve that we should, especially with the direct flights from NY right now. We could take the train there and fly in. We're looking into it for our 'anniversary' trip a few months early.

Very nice invites Kimmy. I have been struggling with our belly bands because I didn't want paper. Can I ask how you affixed the back to them? or did you just tighten them enough that they didn't slip?

We may borrow the Bridal Veil postmark idea. We shop in Portland a few times a year and I was going to give FI a trip for xmas but may hold off until valentines day and combine the mailing with the trip.

Are you talking about the belly bands with the ribbon? I used Velcro to hook those ones. The others that I used the sea grass paper I just used hot glue. I did a blog post on how to make the sea grass paper ones. It's on my blog right now. In the next few days there will be one on how to make the other bands, too.

If you go to Bridal Veil you will drive right past my house!

Along with the other brides I completely agree that your Bio is the bomb! LOL

I was thinking of using ribbon, but the ribbon that we have been using is silk and I have only been able to find 9 yards of it, and most of that has been used for other diy projects.
